In St. Petersburg, a cadet of the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, while in practice, was injured while carrying out operational search activities with a staff member of the city linear department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for transport. This was announced on March 12 by the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in the northern capital.
The incident occurred the day before after the police received a report about a crime committed in the city. The attacker was detained by an employee and cadet of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Olga Bergholts Street in the Nevsky district of the city, where he was put into an official car.
"While in the car, wanting to escape from law enforcement officers, the young man stabbed at least five times in the face and torso of a cadet at the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The victim has been hospitalized and is receiving medical care," the agency's website says.
A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Assault on the life of a law enforcement officer"). The detainee will be charged in the near future. The circumstances of the crime are being investigated during the investigation.
On February 19, a criminal case was opened in the Rostov region on the fact that a man detonated a grenade during his arrest, as a result of which two policemen were injured.
