Hyacinth-S crews destroyed UAV control points and AFU manpower in their area

Calculations of Hyacinth-S self-propelled guns of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces, while performing firing missions, destroyed camouflaged positions with manpower and communications facilities of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units in the area of a special military operation in the Krasnolimansk area. This was announced on March 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Having received the coordinates of the target from reconnaissance, the self-propelled artillery unit (ACS) moved into position. After aiming and loading, a sighting shot was fired to clarify the data. Based on the results obtained, the fire was quickly adjusted, and the gun opened aimed fire. As a result of the successful operation, the enemy's camouflaged position was completely destroyed. Thanks to accurate real-time adjustments, the target was hit with minimal ammunition consumption.

Upon completion of the task, the crew left the firing position, camouflaged the gun and promptly took cover. The destruction of the facility significantly reduced the activity of enemy drones in this area. The enemy has lost the opportunity to conduct aerial reconnaissance and strike with the help of UAVs.

On a daily basis, Hyacinth-S self-propelled cannon crews successfully perform combat missions, supporting assault groups, destroying enemy targets and suppressing their artillery. Due to the rapid change of positions and effective camouflage, they minimize the threat from enemy artillery. Communication and coordination of actions are carried out through secure domestic communication channels that ensure reliable transmission of video materials and data.

In the area of the special operation, military personnel continue to use modern Russian means of communication that do not depend on publicly available platforms like Telegram. At the same time, a domestic messenger with a full range of functions (video calls, group chats, audio conferences, file transfer) is being introduced, working through secure channels.

"When blocking Starlink, we didn't feel any difference at all. We have our own military Internet and fiber optic. Everything is also working stably. All the goals, everything is being worked out. Communication between the units takes place via radio, through Azart and many other radio stations. We do not use Telegram. We have our own messengers," said the commander of the ACS with the call sign Winter.

On March 10, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that calculations of FPV interceptor drones of air defense units and troops of unmanned systems from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed 13 heavy octocopters R18 of the Baba Yaga type. According to the department, the calculations daily cover the sky over the advanced units defending the left bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region, and are searching for enemy attack and reconnaissance drones.
