A crew of towed Msta-B howitzers from the howitzer artillery battalion of the 80th Guards Tank Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of Forces, in cooperation with crews of unmanned systems (UAVs), destroyed temporary deployment sites with manpower of formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnepropetrovsk area of the special military operation. This was announced on March 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The reconnaissance operators found the shelters of the Ukrainian militants in the destroyed buildings and transmitted their coordinates to the artillery battalion. After receiving this data, the gunners quickly aimed the gun and destroyed the targets with 152-mm high-explosive shells from a distance of more than 20 km.

The fire was adjusted in real time by the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The daily work of artillery to destroy enemy strongholds, manpower, armored vehicles and warehouses, in close cooperation with unmanned systems, creates favorable conditions for the offensive of assault units in the Dnipropetrovsk direction.

"We are working on supports, equipment and infantry. <...> Communication with the command is always available, around the clock," said Alexander Tsarevsky, commander of the cannon.

On March 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that calculations of Lancet barrage ammunition and FPV attack drones of the Eastern Group of Forces destroyed the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region. It was clarified that after clarifying the coordinates, the Lancet and FPV attack drones struck the targets.
