The Investigative Committee opened a case on the death of three people in a fire in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

A criminal case has been opened in the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the deaths of a woman and two men in a fire in a two-apartment apartment building. This is reported by the SU IC of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

The fire occurred on the night of March 11 in the village of Sukhobuzimskoye. A one-story wooden semi-detached house on Oktyabrskaya Street caught fire.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, by the time rescuers arrived, the roof was engulfed in fire throughout the entire area of the building. There was a threat of fire spreading to neighboring buildings.

During the extinguishing in one of the apartments, firefighters found the bodies of three people with serious burns. They turned out to be a 47-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman who lived in the house, as well as another man in his 70s.

A criminal case has been opened into the deaths of people under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Causing death by negligence to three persons." The preliminary cause of the fire in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is called unattended ash.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the fire area was 228 square meters. m. Extinguishing took more than three hours. Investigative actions are currently underway, fire-technical and forensic medical examinations have been appointed. The circumstances of the fire are being established.
