The analogue of the Moskvich M70 entered the top popular cars in the UK
The MG HS crossover, on the basis of which the Moskvich M70 model was created, was among the ten most popular Chinese cars in the UK. The rating was published on March 11 by Carwow, a large local online marketplace for the sale of new and used cars.
MG HS took the fifth place in the rating. In Russia, this model is known as the Moskvich M70, it is produced at the Moscow automobile plant and has been on sale since March this year. The MG HS crossover accounts for 4.79% of Chinese-made cars that have attracted the most interest from buyers in the UK.
The first position in the rating with a share of 18.02% was taken by the Jaecoo J5 crossover, which is sold in Russia under the name Jaecoo J6. Next are Omoda 5 with a score of 14.9% (C5 in Russia) and Jaecoo J7 (9.13%). Next came BYD Seal U, the aforementioned MG HS, MG S5 EV, BYD Dolphin Surf, BYD Sealion 5, Jaecoo E5 and the Geely EX5, which rounded out the top ten.
According to experts, Chinese cars are gaining popularity on British roads due to the combination of style, technology and favorable prices.
Earlier that day, it was reported that the Moskvich automobile plant decided not to launch mass production of the compact crossover with the index 5, which was introduced in April last year. Last year, Moskvich announced that it had released several hundred Moskvich 5 crossovers.
