Residents of seismically active areas should have an "alarm bag" at home and learn the rules of behavior during earthquakes. Anastasia Zvereva, a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Regional Seismicity Research of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said this on March 11.

"When living in a seismically active area, such as Sochi, for example, it is recommended to have an "alarm bag" with everything you need. If you feel tremors, if you are not on the ground floor and cannot immediately go outside, then you should not try to leave or run out of the room," Zvereva told RIA Novosti.
