In Khabarovsk, a woman was sentenced to 17 years in a penal colony for treason
The First Eastern District Military Court in Khabarovsk sentenced a 54-year-old local resident to 17 years in prison in a case of treason and participation in a terrorist organization. This was announced on March 11 by the press service of the Khabarovsk Territory Prosecutor's Office.
"The woman, speaking out against the special military operation, cooperated with Ukrainian intelligence. In exchange for traveling abroad, she tore up pamphlets with calls to serve in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. She photographed and sent some of them, and left the rest in the apartment. In total, she tore down at least 14 pamphlets," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
In addition, the convict handed over to the representative of Ukraine the information found in open sources about the death of a Russian serviceman.
The criminal activity was suppressed by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory. The court imposed a sentence of 17 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony with subsequent restriction of liberty for a period of one year.
