Nutritionist named the most healthy water
Endocrinologist and nutritionist Anton Polyakov told us which water is most beneficial for health.
In conversation with aif.ru On March 9, the specialist noted that water with a negative redox potential (ORP) is considered the best option. It can be obtained using ionizers or hydrogen generators. According to him, it quenches thirst better, acts as an antioxidant, reduces inflammation and is more easily absorbed by cells. At the same time, the expert called distilled water without mineralization harmful — it also includes some bottled water, which, in his opinion, does not benefit the body.
For the house, Polyakov recommended using five-stage reverse osmosis cleaning systems that help remove toxic metals and microplastics from the water. After filtration, the liquid should be additionally mineralized, and if there is a generator, it should be saturated with hydrogen.
The nutritionist also reminded about the correct drinking culture: it is better to consume water slowly, in small sips of 150-200 ml and evenly throughout the day, rather than trying to drink a large volume at a time.
Speaking about the price, the doctor noted that the cost of water in stores rarely reflects its real properties. According to him, cheap water is almost the same in composition as expensive water, and the difference is most often related to packaging, brand and marketing. The exception is therapeutic mineral water, the website writes kp.ru .
On March 7, Polyakov stressed the importance of proper water intake during sports. The endocrinologist emphasized that it is necessary to listen to the signals of one's own body and focus on the actual need for water, rather than on external recommendations, notes 360.ru .
Polyakov said on March 6 that clean water is necessary for the normal functioning of the body. According to the expert, in the cold season it is recommended to drink about 1.5–2 liters of water per day, and in hot weather — 2-3 liters. The exact volume depends on the level of physical activity, air temperature and fluid loss. The specialist added that if kidney function is impaired, it is possible to reduce water consumption, but even in this case, you should drink at least a liter per day, writes NSN.
In February, nutritionist coach Yuri Brabechan expressed the opinion that an apple and water are more useful than "super smoothies" and other drinks that look beautiful but are expensive. He explained that trendy juices, fresh drinks, smoothies, sea buckthorn teas with honey, lemonades with fruit puree, bowls with chia and nuts look beautiful, are expensive, but can do more harm than good to the body. He recommended eating fruits in their original form, and making bowls at home, RT clarifies.
