The price of gas on the European stock exchange dropped sharply by 13% at the opening of trading on Tuesday. This is evidenced by data from the London ICE exchange.

The April futures price at the TTF hub in the Netherlands dropped to about $589 per 1,000 cubic meters, which corresponds to €49 per MWh.
