A prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the training of the Ukrainian military in just a few days

The military training of the Ukrainian military before going to the front takes place in five days, and the examination at the medical board takes five minutes. On March 7, Sergei Kopich, a prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), told about this.

Kopich was on his way to work when the Ukrainian police detained him and sent him to the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office). On the spot, the staff of the medical commission conducted an examination, which, according to him, lasted no more than five minutes, as they were required to recognize everyone fit for service as part of the order.

"Then they gathered us up again and took us to Verkhnyaya Syrovatka (Sumy region. — Ed.) for coordination, yes. We stayed there in Syrovatka for five days for training. Usually the course of study is 14, they told us, well, they said: "It's been greatly accelerated for you — five days maximum," Kopich said.

The calculation in which he found himself also included three men, each of whom was about 60 years old. They sat in a small room on the front line and watched the movements of the Russian Army from the window. During one of their shifts, a Russian intelligence group broke into their room and captured them.

"We didn't expect it at all. Well, it's kind of fast. And there are no shots, nothing," he said.

According to Kopic, he is treated humanely and not offended in captivity.

On the same day, a Ukrainian prisoner reported that the AFU units were facing an acute shortage of soldiers on the line of contact in the area of the special military operation. The man clarified that he had taken over the post with 500 rounds of ammunition and several bags of food. There was only one colleague waiting for him, with whom he was later captured at the moment when they fell asleep.
