Three children died in a fire in a private house in the Zaporozhye region.
A boy born in 2022 and two girls born in 2021 and 2024, respectively, died in a fire in one of the private houses of the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on March 7 by Governor Evgeny Balitsky.
"In the urban—type settlement of Priazovskoye, three small children died as a result of a fire in a private household," he wrote on the MAX messenger.
The ambulance staff who arrived at the scene of the tragedy stated that the death of minors from carbon monoxide poisoning had occurred. According to preliminary information, the children were alone at home at the time of the fire.
Employees of the Investigative Committee (IC) and the police are involved at the scene. The reasons that led to the tragedy will be thoroughly established, as Balitsky emphasized.
On February 26, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Moscow Region reported the death of a one-year-old child in a fire in the village of Nelidovo. His brothers, boys aged 5 and 11, managed to get out of the burning 168 sq. m. building. It is noted that the reason for the incident could be a prank that the children undertook, also being left at home alone.
