Starting from March 1, gas services in Russia will be able to disconnect subscribers from the gas supply in case of systematic equipment failures and failure to correct them. This was stated on March 6 by Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Management of the IMEC Liuza Bayguzina in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».

"The gas shutdown does not happen immediately and involves several stages. First, the gas service notifies the consumer of the detected violations and warns of possible gas supply restrictions. After that, the subscriber is given time to fix the problems. If the requirements are not met, the gas supply may be stopped," she said.
