More than 2 million rubles were recovered from the company for disrupting the repair of the bridge near Usman

In the Lipetsk region, the court recovered more than 2 million rubles from LLC IC Bridges and Tunnels for disrupting the construction of the bridge near Usman. This is reported by the joint press service of the courts of the region.

In May 2023, the company received a contract for the overhaul of the bridge over the Usmanka River, its cost amounted to 177.4 million rubles. The facility was supposed to be completed by November 29, 2024, but the contractor missed the deadline, which is why the contract with him was terminated in May 2025.

The Lipetsk Region Road Agency, which is the customer, appealed to the court with a demand to collect a penalty and fine from the company, as well as oblige it to provide warranty obligations for the work performed.

According to GOROD48, as a result, the arbitration court recovered 2.2 million rubles from LLC IC Bridges and Tunnels, of which 1.3 million rubles is a penalty and 887 thousand rubles is a fine. At the same time, the amount of warranty obligations amounted to 177 thousand rubles. The press service of the courts notes that the decision has not yet entered into force.

In November 2024, it was reported that in Lipetsk, the director of a construction organization was fined 3.7 million rubles for failure to repair the bridge over the Vyazovnya River on time. The contractor was supposed to complete the repairs by December 12, 2023, but did not do so.
