Chekhov's court ordered a ban on certain actions to the man who attacked the Izvestia journalist. This was reported on March 6 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow region.

The person involved in the case was a breeder of sick purebred puppies, to whom a film crew came to clarify the situation. Breeders Tatiana and her husband Alexander sold pedigreed dogs that later died. When the journalists tried to ask the breeders a few questions, the conversation escalated into a scuffle and an attempt to disrupt the filming. The breeder wrung his hands, beat his head against the wall and kicked the reporter in the stomach.

"A 38-year-old local resident has been charged with assaulting a correspondent (Part 3 of Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). At the request of the investigation, the court chose a preventive measure against the defendant in the form of a ban on certain actions," the IC said in a statement on the MAX messenger.

The investigation of the case continues.

Last December, the Izvestia film crew was also attacked by security guards at the training of coach Yulia Ivlieva, who calls herself a psychologist. It was clarified that the attack on journalists occurred after their questions about Ivlieva's education and income.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
