The members of the European Commission are aware of the current state of affairs with the Druzhba oil pipeline. This was announced on March 6 by the official representative of the European Commission, Olof Gilles, refusing to disclose details.

"We are fully aware of what is happening," he said during a briefing.

According to Gill, despite the lack of public comments on every detail, the European Commission is aware of what is happening and is trying to move the settlement process forward.

Earlier in the day, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Ukraine's blocking of the Druzhba oil pipeline was an act of "state banditry" because Kiev was violating international obligations to transit Russian oil.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on March 5 that the restoration of the Druzhba oil pipeline is technically possible within a month and a half, but this will happen only if Europe finds ways to unlock a loan of €90 billion for Ukraine.
