Khabarovsk authorities announced the stabilization of the situation with influenza and SARS

The situation with the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections has stabilized in the Khabarovsk Territory. It is currently at a seasonal level.

According to IA AmurMedia with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, the value of the incidence of viral infections in the general population and in age groups among children of preschool and school age does not exceed the epidemic threshold.

It was decided to cancel the previously introduced measures of the epidemic period from March 4. The sanitary authorities sent a proposal to the administrations of Khabarovsk and several municipal districts of the region, as well as to the ministries of health and Social Protection.

In the last week of February, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza in the country as a whole decreased. About 677 thousand cases were registered against 750 thousand a week earlier. However, as noted in Rospotrebnadzor, the activity of viruses in the spring period persists and may provoke a new wave of SARS and influenza. In this regard, it is recommended to follow basic measures for the prevention of respiratory infections.
