The US operation against Iran has led to a shortage of missiles for the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems. This was reported on March 5 by the Handelsblat newspaper, citing sources.

"According to military sources, the Persian Gulf countries alone fired about 800 Patriot missiles in the early days of the war. The US military and Israel, which was also subjected to rocket attacks from Iran for several days, used at least the same amount," the publication says.
