The FAS pointed out a violation of the law by advertising on Telegram

Placing advertisements on Internet platforms that are restricted or deemed undesirable in the Russian Federation violates the law. This was reported to Izvestia on March 5 by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia.

"It is not allowed to distribute advertising on information resources whose activities are considered undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as access to which is restricted," the ministry said.
