Applications for the new compact front-wheel drive crossover Belgee X50+ have been accepted in Russia. The car has received an OTTS certificate and will be delivered to the brand's Russian dealer network in the near future, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on March 5.

The full-cycle production of the Belgee X50+, including welding and body painting, is carried out at the facilities of the Belgee plant in Belarus. As previously reported in January, the X50+ is a facelifted version of the X50. This model was presented to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

The length of the model is 4380 mm with a wheelbase of 2600 mm. The width reaches 1,810 mm, and the height is 1,615 mm. The ground clearance is 182 mm. The X50+ crossover is equipped with a new Belgee four-cylinder gasoline turbo engine with a volume of 1.5 liters and a capacity of 147 hp, which has already been proven in Russia. Maximum torque of 270 Nm is available from 2000 rpm. The engine works in conjunction with a seven-speed preselective automatic transmission with a dual "wet" clutch. Gasoline consumption in the combined cycle is 6.5 liters per 100 km.

More details about the model will be revealed later. Currently, the Belgee line in Russia includes the compact X50 crossover, the mid-size X70 crossover and the S50 sedan. They are based on Geely models.

Earlier, on February 6, it was reported that Geely had allowed the resumption of deliveries of Coolray crossovers to the Russian market this year. The fact that the Geely Coolray crossover, which was updated on the Russian market in 2023, disappeared from the list of brand models offered in the country, became known in early November last year. The role of the "junior" crossover in the Geely line in the Russian Federation is now assigned to the Cityray model, which is one step below the Atlas.
