When using social networks and services, a person leaves behind a "digital footprint" through which personal and sensitive information can be found about a person. Alexander Khaminsky, a lawyer and head of the Law Enforcement Center in Moscow and the Moscow Region, told about this on March 5.

"It is almost impossible to completely remove yourself from the Internet, but you can at least follow the basic rules of digital hygiene. If possible, close your social media profiles to outsiders. Make sure that your phone number is hidden in the settings of Telegram and other messengers," he said in an interview with <url>.
