On March 5, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had launched a missile attack on the location of Kurdish groups in Iraqi Kurdistan.

"The IRGC attacked with missiles the locations of anti—Iranian Kurdish groups based in Iraqi Kurdistan," Al Mayadeen TV channel quoted the corps as saying.
