It is unacceptable to use the words "krynzh" and its derivatives ("krynzhovo", "krynzhovy"), which are popular among young people, in an essay on the Unified State Exam (USE) in the Russian language, since it refers to slang vocabulary. This was announced on March 4 by the head of the Department of the Russian Language of the A.I. Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University, Professor Natalia Kozlovskaya.

"Neither the word "kringe" itself nor its derivatives can be used in the essay of the Unified State Exam, because they are slangy, as indicated by the corresponding mark "jarg." I would like to add that I have never seen it in the essays of the Unified State Exam in 11 years (since the year of the first fixation of the word in speech): it's even difficult for me to think of a problematic question with which this word can relate," Kozlovskaya told TASS.
