The current plans for the US military operation against Iran do not include the participation of ground forces, but this possibility cannot be completely ruled out. This statement was made on March 4 at a regular briefing for journalists by White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.
"This is not part of the current plans, but I will not rule out any option on behalf of the president (US President Donald Trump — Ed.)," she said in response to a question.
