The Iranian Foreign Minister announced the attacks by the United States and Israel on civilian targets.

The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Araqchi, spoke with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov. The Iranian Foreign Ministry wrote about this in its Telegram channel on March 4.

"The Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, <...> informed him (Lavrov. — Ed.) about the latest events and crimes committed by the Zionist regime and the United States against the people of Iran, as well as targeted attacks on residential areas, schools, mosques, hospitals and care and service centers," the ministry said in a statement.

In addition, Araqchi thanked Lavrov for his condolences on the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. It is separately emphasized that the Russian diplomat condemned the aggression of Israel and the United States against Iran and called for a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

Iran blamed the United States for the attacks on its territory, which, in turn, according to the Politico newspaper, used Tomahawk missiles. The number of students and teachers killed was 170. On March 3, a farewell ceremony was held in the Iranian city of Minab for the schoolgirls who died in the US strike, thousands of people came.
