A specialist in the field of funeral called the disadvantages of the golden coffin
Pyotr Fedorov, a specialist in the field of funeral business, said that a golden coffin, similar to the one in which drug lord Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, nicknamed El Mencho, was buried in Mexico, does not ensure the natural decomposition of the body.
In conversation with aif.ru On Wednesday, March 4, Fedorov noted that burial in a golden coffin, despite its unusual nature, has a number of drawbacks. According to him, metals, like Swarovski crystals, which are sometimes used to decorate coffins, do not decompose, whereas the meaning of traditional burial is natural biodegradation in the ground. So, such constructions do not contribute to the process, and instead you can use an ordinary coffin covered with a thin gold film.
The specialist also added that all—gold coffins are very heavy - their weight can exceed 100 kg, which makes them difficult to move.
Drug lord El Mencho was eliminated on February 22 in the state of Jalisco during an operation against a drug cartel conducted by the Mexican authorities with the support of the United States, writes NSN. Four members of the criminal group died on the spot during a shootout, three more were seriously injured and died, Moscow 24 reports.
The funeral took place on March 2 at the Resinto de la Paz cemetery. El Mencho's body was taken to the cemetery in a golden coffin, writes RT. The funeral was held behind closed doors. At the same time, military personnel and army armored vehicles were on duty near the funeral home, from where the body of the head of the drug cartel was taken out in a golden coffin, the website says. kp.ru .
On February 26, it was reported that the elimination of El Mencho caused mass riots. His followers began to destroy everything around them, seeking revenge on the authorities, eliminate competitors and expand their possessions, notes 360.ru .
