Putin said about the ability of veterans of his military to seriously strengthen the ranks of the Interior Ministry

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Interior Ministry to actively recruit veterans of a special military operation into its system. He announced this on March 4 during the board meeting of the Ministry.

"They [veterans] are ways to seriously strengthen the ranks of the Interior Ministry. I ask you to actively select such candidates for existing vacancies," Putin stressed.

According to him, one of the most important options for recruiting military personnel is to recruit military veterans with their combat, psychological and physical experience.

On Defender of the Fatherland Day, the President praised the courage of Russian soldiers and the experience gained by the Russian army during the special operation.

At the same board, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, said that there is a large turnover of personnel in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the personnel has been updated by half since 2020.

He clarified that 58,000 people were accepted into certified positions last year, while 80,000 employees left. According to Kolokoltsev, the agency is taking all possible measures to increase the level of social security of personnel.
