Russian President Vladimir Putin has established the full-time strength of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the amount of 2,391,770 people. The relevant decree of the head of state was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on March 4.

"To establish the full—time strength of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the amount of 2,391,770 units, including 1,502,640 military personnel," the document says.
