According to the results of last year, the total sales volume of the X5 grocery retail company in the e-commerce segment amounted to 323.7 billion rubles.

According to X5's press service, digital business has become one of the key drivers of the company's growth in 2025 due to the systematic development of its own express delivery channels, technological contour and expansion of the geography of its presence.

"In 2025, X5 has demonstrated high operational stability and the ability to efficiently handle large volumes of orders. The company has also consistently developed its own network of darkstores in major cities. One of X5's key technological steps was the launch of Russia's first robotic darkstore, a pilot facility with a 70% share of robotics," X5 noted.

Sergey Pankov, Managing Director of X5 Digital, emphasized that "X5's leadership in the e-grocery segment by the end of 2025 is the result of systematic and long—term work." "Throughout the year, we have consistently scaled our digital business, while improving operational efficiency, technology platform reliability, and customer experience," he added.

Pankov pointed out that the company's focus is on sustainable growth with a controlled order economy, the development of its own logistics infrastructure and the introduction of technological solutions that allow it to maintain a high level of service even during periods of peak demand.
