An American submarine has sunk a warship of the Iranian Navy. This was announced on March 4 by U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
"Yesterday, in the Indian Ocean, an American submarine sank an Iranian warship that believed it was safe in international waters. Instead, it was sunk by a torpedo," Hegseth said, and a broadcast of the press conference is available on the Pentagon's website.
