According to the deputy head of the ministry, Vladimir Osintsev, in order to attract business to window restoration projects, it is necessary to develop industry regulation measures and support mechanisms.

The right holder of an object included in the unified state register of windows can attract loan financing at 6%. Its area should be at least 500 sq. m. The number of rooms of the hotel, which the investor plans to open in a renovated historical building, should occupy at least 50% of the area. The loan agreement will stipulate the obligation to obtain certification within a year after the building is put into operation, the hotel category is from 3 stars.

"The new conditions of the preferential loan program for investors will allow attracting business representatives aimed at developing domestic tourism, who already have experience in implementing such projects, to the restoration of the windows. The emergence of new tourist facilities will contribute, among other things, to the creation of new jobs, the development of related infrastructure, and the attraction of tourists, which will have a positive impact on the economy of the regions as a whole," commented the First Deputy General Director of DOM.Russian Federation Alexey Nidens.
