The head of the village of Silver Ponds near Moscow and three of his deputies were detained on suspicion of accepting bribes, and a criminal case was opened on this fact. This was reported on March 4 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region.

A criminal case has been opened not only against officials, but also against business representatives — an individual entrepreneur and the CEO of a commercial company, who are suspected of paying bribes.
