Private Sinitsyn repaired the electronic warfare system and eliminated the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Guard Private Yevgeny Sinitsyn at the electronic warfare (EW) post was protecting the site from attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) when an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hit a wire ensuring the operability of the electronic warfare complex. The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the special military operation zone on March 4.

Sinitsyn understood that the equipment needed to be restored as soon as possible. Despite the danger, he left the shelter and reached the place where the cable was damaged. After completing the repairs, he was preparing to return to the shelter when he noticed another FPV drone approaching him. Using standard weapons, Sinitsyn destroyed the drone, checked the operation of the electronic warfare system and returned to his post.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism of Guard Corporal Dmitry Shulakov, who, as part of the Grad-2 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), was tasked with eliminating equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine when he noticed the approach of two enemy FPV drones.

Shulakov immediately informed the commander of the calculation about the threat, and then proceeded to eliminate the enemy drones. With targeted fire at targets, he shot down both quadrocopters, which detonated in the air without harming the crew and MLRS.
