The conflict in the Middle East did not affect UAZ's plans for the region's markets
Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant does not intend to abandon its plans for the Middle East markets, despite the escalation of the conflict in the region. This was reported to Izvestia on March 4 at the Russian enterprise.
"The company considers the Middle East as one of its export destinations only in the long term. Despite the dramatically changed situation in the region, we continue to work out plans for market development, hoping for an early resolution of the conflict," a representative of UAZ told Izvestia.
Earlier, on March 3, it became known that the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East did not affect the supply of Lada models to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Lada cars are imported to the UAE in lots, not daily, so the current situation has not affected the work in any way, AvtoVAZ told Izvestia.
