Apple unveils the cheapest iPhone 17

Apple has unveiled the iPhone 17e, which has become the cheapest device from the 17th generation line. This became known on March 2 after the presentation, which was broadcast on the company's website.

The new device is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a frequency of 60 Hz and a brightness of 1200 nits. At the same time, the Dynamic Island cutout, first introduced in the 14th generation line, did not receive the smartphone.

The phone has an Apple A19 processor inside, which is also installed in the iPhone 17 model, and a new proprietary C1X communication module, first shown in the iPhone Air.

One of the unexpected innovations in the smartphone was the support for MagSafe wireless charging and accessories powered by this technology. As specified by "Gazeta.Earlier, Apple believed that the target audience of the line did not consider this feature a priority, but many eventually criticized the lack of magnets in the iPhone 16e.
