Sobyanin noted the growth of turnover in Moscow's electrical industry
By the end of 2025, the revenue of Moscow manufacturers of electrical equipment reached almost 300 billion rubles. At the same time, the turnover of Moscow's electrical industry increased by almost 22% in 2025, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said on his MAX channel.
The revenue of electrical equipment manufacturers increased by 21.7% year-on-year in comparable prices, the Mayor of Moscow noted. He recalled that over 130 enterprises for the development and manufacture of electrical equipment operate in the capital. Companies produce equipment for domestic use, as well as for the needs of enterprises, transport and other sectors of the economy.
Companies producing electric batteries and rechargeable batteries have become growth leaders, Sobyanin said. Their turnover increased 2.9 times and exceeded 7.1 billion rubles.
Almost half of the turnover (46%) was accounted for by manufacturers of control and measuring equipment, electric motors, generators, transformers and switchgear. Companies specializing in the production of cables and cable fittings accounted for about 27% of the turnover. Manufacturers of electric lamps and lighting equipment earned almost 9%.
The Moscow authorities support Moscow enterprises through tax incentives, sales guarantees, and financial instruments. Thus, the cable plant received compensation for the interest rate on an investment loan from the Moscow Fund for Industry and Entrepreneurship Support for the construction of a new site in the VAO. In addition, the city has signed an offset contract with the plant for the production of cable and wire products for the subway.
