New buildings in Russia may rise in price by 10% in 2026

This year, the average price increase for Russian new buildings may be 10%. This was announced on March 2 by the head of the analytical center DOM.Russian Federation Mikhail Goldberg.

"Last year, prices increased by 10%. I think that approximately the same dynamics, plus or minus, will continue, slightly above inflation. This is a normal story. The main thing is that it grows in proportion to the growth of household incomes," he said in an interview with TASS.

The specialist drew attention to the uneven dynamics of the real estate market by region. For example, in large cities like Moscow, housing prices are rising faster than the national average.

In general, a steady increase in prices is expected this year. At the same time, according to the expert, next year the growth may be higher.

Most of all, the "square" rose in price in Moscow, Kazan, Perm, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.
