The Supreme Court has declared the Anti-War Committee of Russia a terrorist organization.

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, in a closed court session, recognized the "Anti-War Committee of Russia" as a terrorist organization and banned its activities in the country. This was reported on March 2 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

On January 27, the Moscow Meshchanskaya interdistrict prosecutor's office approved an indictment against Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the former head of the Yukos corporation (recognized as a foreign agent and included in the list of extremists and terrorists in the Russian Federation). He is charged under clauses "c, d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation")

In October 2025, the FSB of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against Khodorkovsky and 22 members of the Anti-War Committee of Russia (AKR, recognized as an undesirable organization in the territory of the Russian Federation). It was clarified that the movement was established in February 2022. His goals are to forcibly seize power and change the constitutional order in Russia.
