Playwright Nikolai Kolyada died at the age of 68.

Nikolai Kolyada, a Soviet and Russian playwright, actor and theater director, has died at the age of 68. This was announced on March 2 by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Denis Pasler.

"This is an irreparable loss not only for the Sverdlovsk region, but for the whole of Russia. An outstanding playwright, actor, and director Nikolai Vladimirovich Kolyada has passed away," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
