The UK named the cause of the emergency with tourists in the Kama region

Tourists were unable to launch snowmobiles in the Kama region due to frost and strong winds. This was reported on March 1 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the Perm Region.

"It was previously established that the tourist group did not reach their destination, Ivanov's House, due to suddenly deteriorating meteorological conditions – strong wind and frost. The tourists camped in the field. However, subsequently none of the snowmobiles could be launched," the report says.
