A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The units of the North group of forces have taken more advantageous positions. Formations of the airborne assault and airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and three air defense brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Iskriskovshchyna, Bachevsk, Volnaya Sloboda, Pokrovka and Leninskoye in the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv region, units of three heavy mechanized, artillery, motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a National Guard brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Verkhnyaya Pisarevka, Olshany, Martove, Pechenegi, Golubovka, Malinovka, Staritsa and Kitsevka of the Kharkiv region.

The "southern" grouping of troops has improved its position along the front line. Formations of three mechanized, motorized infantry, mountain assault, and airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Konstantinovka, Andreevka, Nikiforovka, Lipovka, Rai-Alexandrovka, Druzhkovka, and Reznikovka of the Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy lost over 220 soldiers, a US-made Stryker armored personnel carrier, two armored combat vehicles, 13 vehicles, five field artillery pieces, including a 155 mm American M777 howitzer and a counter-battery warfare station.

The fighters of the Center group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and positions. The manpower and equipment of two mechanized, infantry, airmobile, jaeger, airborne brigades, the assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Azov special forces brigade and three National Guard brigades were defeated. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to 330 soldiers, six armored combat vehicles, nine vehicles and two artillery pieces.

The units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses. Formations of a mechanized, two assault, two amphibious assault brigades, four assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a marine brigade were defeated. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 330 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, five pickup trucks, an artillery piece and an electronic warfare station.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated energy infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 144 regions. Nine guided aerial bombs, four US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 220 aircraft-type drones were shot down by air defense systems.

The offensive in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions allows us to push back the front line and protect peaceful cities from attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 118,341 unmanned aerial vehicles, 651 anti-aircraft missile systems, 27,955 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,678 combat vehicles with multiple launch rocket systems, 33,551 field artillery and mortars, 55,542 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
