Peskov called Russia an island of stability in conditions of chaos
In the face of growing global chaos, Russia must remain an island of stability, prudence and wisdom. This was announced on March 1 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in connection with reports of a possible transfer of nuclear weapons to the Kiev regime.
"The fact is that when there are so many, let's say, system failures around, there still needs to be an island of stability, an island of prudence and wisdom. And I'm inclined to be sure that this is exactly the country headed by President [of Russia Vladimir] Putin. Putin. Because if you succumb to this general chaos, then, of course, it will not lead to good," Peskov told Vesti journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The Kremlin representative noted that painstaking work is underway, all services are in place and performing their functions.
On February 24, the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported on the plans of London and Paris to secretly transfer nuclear weapons to Kiev. After that, the Federation Council called on the French and British sides to conduct parliamentary investigations.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on February 24 that Russia's opponents, who "do not disdain any means," understand how an attempt to use nuclear weapons can end. He added that Western countries are trying to disrupt the peace negotiation process in this way.
