A female volunteer was killed in a drone strike in the Zaporozhye region.

A female volunteer was killed and another was seriously injured as a result of a targeted drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a car in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on March 1 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"On the Vasilyevka–Berdyansk highway in the Chernihiv municipal District, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a targeted strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type on a civilian car of volunteers from Rostov-on-Don. A woman born in 1975 was killed in a terrorist attack. The injuries were incompatible with life — she died on the spot," he wrote in the channel in the messenger of the MAX.

Another volunteer, a woman born in 1975— was seriously injured and was hospitalized in Tokmak Central District Hospital. The victim was diagnosed with thermal burns, multiple shrapnel wounds to the torso, head and limbs. Balitsky expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
