Iran declared Tehran's readiness "for all possible scenarios"
Iran was preparing for any scenario, including the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This was announced on March 1 by the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
"We have prepared for these moments and considered all options for the development of events," The Times of Israel quoted Ghalibaf as saying.
Earlier, Iran confirmed the death of the Supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
On February 28, the United States announced the start of a large-scale military operation with Israel against Iran. The Israeli and American military attacked the republic, including a school in the city of Minab. According to the latest data, 148 children died as a result of the attack.
In response, Tehran has fired missiles and drones at American military bases located in the Middle East. Explosions also occurred in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
