The UAE will cover all the costs of accommodating injured and stranded tourists.
The authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have announced that the country will cover all costs of accommodating and providing passengers stranded in the country, ensuring the provision of basic services during operational adjustments. This was announced on February 28 by the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) with reference to the Khaleej Times.
"The UAE has announced that it will cover all costs of accommodation and maintenance for injured and stranded travelers," the material says.
ATOR added that the UAE General Directorate of Civil Aviation (GCAA) has also activated operational plans aimed at minimizing the consequences of the situation in the region. It is noted that the aviation sector continues to effectively manage passenger traffic, flexibly responding to changes in flight schedules.
The UAE authorities assured that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the aviation system and passenger support.
Earlier, tourists from Russia reported problems with flights from the UAE and Israel due to attacks on Iran. Dubai airports have suspended operations indefinitely due to the escalation in the region.
