Negotiations between the US and Iranian authorities did not lead to success due to the policy of harassment on the part of Israel, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on December 28.
"During this period, I held talks with Mr. [US President] Donald Trump and Mr. [Iranian President] Masoud Peseshkian. Other countries in our region have also done everything in their power," the Turkish leader said in Istanbul. The performance was broadcast by TRT Haber TV channel.
As the Turkish leader pointed out, the negotiators failed to overcome the crisis of trust between the parties and achieve results due to Israel's constant attempts to disrupt the dialogue process.
