On March 1, the Nizhny Novgorod station of the Moscow Central Ring (MCC) will resume operation. This was announced on Friday, February 27, by the press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD).

They clarified that the station would reopen to passengers, and the decision to restore boarding and disembarkation was made by an interdepartmental commission. A temporary turnstile pavilion has been built for access to the station during the renovation work, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

It is noted that passengers will board and disembark according to a temporary scheme: towards Ugreshskaya station — from all cars, and towards Andronovka — with the exception of the first door of the first car.

At the end of January, boarding and disembarking of passengers was temporarily suspended at the MCC Nizhny Novgorod station. The station was closed due to a technical malfunction. The activation of protective mechanisms during subsidence made it possible to maintain the integrity of the structure and ensure the safety of passengers.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
