Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has accused former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of hiding the truth about former US President Bill Clinton's affair with American financier Jeffrey Epstein. Zakharova made such a statement on February 27 during the Moscow—Islamabad media forum.

"Bill Clinton knew everything, and Hillary Clinton knows it all too. And what she said yesterday is a lie, it's a lie," Zakharova said.

Zakharova stressed that the name of Epstein's plane, Lolita Express, directly refers to the theme of pedophilia in Nabokov's novel Lolita and was widely known to passengers.

"The same Bill Clinton could not have known and knew very well, and knows why Epstein's plane is called Lolita Express," she said.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the children on board were transported not to participate in charity, but "to be slaughtered, <...> in order to mock them, seduce them and further molest them and then use them as objects of blackmail" by world politicians, public figures and financiers.

On the same day, Hillary Clinton called on Congress to summon Trump for questioning in the Epstein case. The day before, Hillary Clinton said she had no information about Epstein's crimes and had never visited his properties. In an affidavit published by her in X (ex. Twitter), she stressed that she had not met with Epstein.

Epstein's files began to be published on December 20 last year, after on November 19 of the same year, American leader Donald Trump signed a bill to make them public.
