Liksutov spoke about new buses on routes in the Moscow region

Innovative large-class buses "LiAZ Sitimax 12" have started arriving in Moscow. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

The new cars will take the 1818 route from Filevsky Park metro station to the International University in Odintsovo City District.

"According to the signed contract, we expect to supply 97 modern LiAZ Sitimax 12 buses for operation on suburban routes this year. Thanks to the Moscow Region project, which was launched last year, passengers' trips are becoming more comfortable not only in the capital, but also abroad. We continue to develop the urban land transport network on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," Maxim Liksutov added.

The large class bus of the new generation of the Likinsky Bus Plant provides an increased level of comfort for passengers and the driver. The model is characterized by maneuverability, increased width of doorways and aisles between seats, which simplifies boarding and disembarking. The body is made using modern composite materials that are lightweight, durable and resistant to corrosion. The use of innovative solutions has reduced the noise level in the cabin. The large glazing area provides good visibility.

The capacity of the bus is up to 109 passengers. Dual-zone climate control maintains a comfortable temperature at any time of the year. For passengers with limited mobility, there is a low entrance level without steps, a mechanical ramp, a spacious storage area with lumbar supports and a specially equipped wheelchair space. The knilling system allows you to tilt the bus towards the doors, making it easier to board and disembark.

The new buses will run as part of the Moscow Region project. In 2026, it is planned to launch about 50 new routes in the Moscow region.
