The Interior Ministry proposed to increase the number of persons performing police functions

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has proposed to expand the circle of persons allowed to police activities to include employees of internal affairs agencies outside police units. This follows from the draft order published on February 25 on the website of the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

"I order you to approve the attached procedure for involving employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation who are not police officers in the performance of duties assigned to the police," the draft text says.
