A pedestrian died as a result of being hit by a car in Makhachkala
In Makhachkala, a male pedestrian died as a result of being hit by a car. This was reported on February 27 in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Dagestan.
"At about 21:00 (local time, coincides with Moscow time. — Ed.), on the 805th km of the Caucasus Federal District, in the suburbs of Makhachkala, a 30-year-old resident of the Khunzakh district, driving a Skoda Rapid car, ran over a man crossing the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing area," the department's Telegram channel reported.
It is specified that as a result of the accident, a 68-year-old resident of Makhachkala died on the spot.
On February 26, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia informed Izvestia that 214 traffic accidents occurred on Russian roads during the day, in which 12 people were killed and 270 injured. There were 10 accidents involving buses, in which there were no fatalities, but 15 road users needed medical attention.
